Miguel Rojas is a Venezuelan professional baseball infielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers, who made MLB history in 2025 by becoming the first player ever to hit a game-tying home run in the 9th inning or later of a World Series Game 7. After signing with the Cincinnati Reds as a free agent in 2006 and climbing their farm system, he joined the Dodgers organization in 2013 and made his MLB debut on June 6, 2014, notably preserving Clayton Kershaw's no-hitter with a spectacular defensive play that June. In December 2014, he was traded to the Miami Marlins—alongside Dee Gordon and Dan Haren—where he developed into a reliable shortstop, setting career-highs in 2018 (153 games, 11 homers, 53 RBIs) and signing a two-year, $10.25 million contract in 2019.
