Travis Etienne Jr. is an American professional football running back currently playing for the New Orleans Saints in the NFL, born on January 26, 1999, in Jennings, Louisiana, where he has Louisiana Creole ancestry. After a dazzling high school career, he became a record-breaking star at Clemson, helping the Tigers win a national championship in 2018 while earning ACC Player of the Year honors twice. Over his college career, he set ACC records for career rushing yards (4,952), rushing touchdowns (70), and total points (468), and scored a touchdown in an FBS-record 46 games. He was selected 25th overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2021 NFL draft and later joined the Saints, solidifying his reputation as one of the most prolific running backs in recent college football history.
