• Mick Jones (born 27 December 1944, Portsmouth, England) is an English musician best known as the founder and only continuous original member of the British-American rock band Foreigner, with whom he stopped touring in 2023 due to health issues.
  • Before forming Foreigner in 1976, he built an eclectic career as a session musician in France for artists like Johnny Hallyday, later joining and reforming Spooky Tooth and collaborating with George Harrison and Peter Frampton.
  • Jones co-wrote most of Foreigner's biggest hits with singer Lou Gramm, including the solo-written classic "I Want to Know What Love Is," and also produced landmark albums for other artists, such as Van Halen's 5150 (1986) and Billy Joel's Storm Front (1989).
  • In his personal life, he married socialite Ann Dexter-Jones in 1983, divorced in 2007, and remarried in 2017.
  • After revealing a Parkinson's disease diagnosis in early 2024, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame later that year as a member of Foreigner.
