Ryan Roose Garcia (born January 12, 1990) is a Filipino professional basketball player currently with the PBA's Titan Ultra Giant Risers and an assistant coach for the NCAA's Lyceum Pirates. Hailing from Zamboanga City, he learned basketball at age 8 and became a standout for the FEU Tamaraws, where he won the UAAP MVP in his sophomore season—the first point guard to do so since Johnny Abarrientos in 1991—despite never winning a collegiate championship. During his time at FEU, he led the team to multiple Finals appearances against Ateneo and tied his career-high of 25 points on several occasions, but his tenure also included suspensions and a controversial rematch that cost the Tamaraws a Final Four slot. He also helped NLEX win the 2011 PBA D-League Aspirants Cup before entering the professional ranks. Garcia was selected 6th overall in the 2013 PBA draft by Barako Bull (later GlobalPort), and he now balances his playing career with coaching duties at Lyceum.
