Hank Brown (born March 30, 2005) is an American college football quarterback currently playing for the Iowa Hawkeyes after transferring from the Auburn Tigers. He moved to Nashville's Lipscomb Academy in high school, where he was coached by Super Bowl-winning quarterback Trent Dilfer, and he finished his senior season with 3,264 passing yards and 47 touchdowns, leading his team to a perfect 13-0 record and a state championship. A three-star recruit, he flipped his commitment from Liberty to Auburn to follow coach Hugh Freeze, making his collegiate debut in the 2023 Music City Bowl. In 2024, he briefly took over the starting job from Payton Thorne, throwing for 235 yards and four touchdowns in a win over New Mexico, but was benched the following game against Arkansas after throwing three interceptions in the first half. After finishing the season with 403 yards, six touchdowns, and three interceptions, he entered the transfer portal on December 8, 2024 and announced his transfer to Iowa just five days later.
