Yorman Bazardo (born July 11, 1984) was a Venezuelan professional baseball pitcher who played in MLB for the Florida Marlins, Detroit Tigers, and Houston Astros. Signed as an undrafted free agent by the Marlins in 2000, he made his MLB debut in May 2005, when manager Jack McKeon famously asked "who's to say he's not another Willis?"—though he struggled in that one relief appearance. After being traded to the Seattle Mariners in July 2005, he was named the Double-A San Antonio Missions' Pitcher of the Year in 2006, leading to a February 2007 trade to the Detroit Tigers. With Detroit, he excelled in 2007 (2.38 ERA in 11 games) but was designated for assignment in 2008 after a rough start. He later signed with the Philadelphia Phillies (December 2008–April 2009) and the Houston Astros in January 2009, pitching 10 games for Houston after an August call-up, before finishing his career in the minors in 2010.
