Cameron Skattebo is a running back for the New York Giants, selected in the fourth round (105th overall) of the 2025 NFL Draft after a standout college career. He began at Sacramento State, where he was an FCS All-American, before transferring to Arizona State, where he set the school's single-season rushing record with 1,711 yards and finished 5th in Heisman voting in 2024. During that electrifying season, he showcased extreme versatility—rushing, receiving, and even throwing passes—and notably won the Peach Bowl Offensive MVP despite his team losing, a rare honor previously unreachable by a losing player for 26 years. As a rookie with the Giants, he burst onto the scene by rushing for three touchdowns against the Eagles in Week 6, becoming the first Giants rookie to achieve that feat since 1971. Unfortunately, his impressive debut (over 400 rushing yards and 5 TDs in his first 8 games) was halted when he suffered a dislocated ankle in late October 2025.
