Alec Bohm (born August 3, 1996, in Omaha, Nebraska) is a professional baseball first baseman for the Philadelphia Phillies. Despite going undrafted out of Roncalli Catholic High School in 2015—where he led Nebraska with a .533 batting average—he starred at Wichita State University, hitting .339 in 2018, prompting the Phillies to pick him third overall in that year's MLB draft. He quickly rose through the minors, making his MLB debut in 2020 and finishing as the runner-up for Rookie of the Year. In 2024, he earned his first All-Star Game selection and participated in the Home Run Derby. Earlier, he had won the Connie Mack World Series Home Run Derby with 22 homers and has also represented USA Baseball internationally.
