Mike Shanahan (born August 24, 1952) is a legendary former NFL coach, most famous for his 14-season tenure as head coach of the Denver Broncos (1995–2008). He led the team to their first two Super Bowl championships, winning back-to-back titles in Super Bowl XXXII and XXXIII (1997–1998), making them just the seventh franchise to achieve consecutive victories. Over his 20-season head coaching career, he also coached the Los Angeles Raiders and Washington Redskins, though his time with the Raiders was marked by intense clashes with owner Al Davis.
