Jordan Love (born November 2, 1998) is the starting quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, having been drafted 26th overall in the 2020 NFL Draft after a record-setting college career at Utah State. At Utah State, he set a school single-season record with 3,567 passing yards and 32 touchdowns in 2018, earning MVP honors at the New Mexico Bowl. After serving as Aaron Rodgers' backup for three years, Love became the Packers' starter in 2023 and has since led the team to the playoffs in each of his first three seasons, including a notable playoff victory over the Dallas Cowboys. He signed a four-year, $220 million contract extension before the 2024 season. His path to success was marked by personal tragedy, as his father, a police officer, died by suicide when Love was 14—an experience he later chronicled in The Players' Tribune.
