Brandon Gill (born 1994) is a Republican politician who has served as the U.S. Representative for Texas's 26th district since January 2025, notably becoming the youngest Republican in Congress. A Dartmouth graduate and former investment banker, he founded the pro-Trump online newspaper D.C. Enquirer in 2022 before winning his 2024 election with over 60% of the vote, having secured endorsements from Donald Trump and Ted Cruz. His main policy focus is border security and mass deportations, though his tenure has been marked by controversial Islamophobic remarks. In Congress, he introduced the REMAIN in Mexico Act, proposed placing Trump's face on the $100 bill, and passed a bill lowering the age for trying juvenile offenders as adults in Washington, D.C. He has also filed two impeachment resolutions against U.S. District Judge James Boasberg over rulings that blocked Trump administration deportation policies and authorized subpoenas of Republican senators' phone records.
