The Caribes de Anzoátegui (Anzoátegui Caribs) are a professional baseball team based in Puerto La Cruz, Venezuela, competing in the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League. Founded on July 15, 1987, by 21 stockholders, the team debuted in the 1991–92 season as the Caribes de Oriente before adopting its current name in 2005. They have won four league championships (2010–11, 2014–15, 2017–18, and 2020–21) and have reached the finals seven times. Notably, former MLB star Magglio Ordoñez became a co-owner in 2013, and the team has made the playoffs every season since 2010–11, the longest such streak in their history. The franchise has also produced several award-winning players, including Ordoñez and Eliezer Alfonzo, who earned MVP honors.
