Josue De Paula is a Dominican-American outfielder in the Los Angeles Dodgers organization, who signed with the team in January 2022 for $397,500 out of El Niche Academy. He quickly rose through the minors, hitting .350 in the Dominican Summer League in 2022 and advancing to Single-A Rancho Cucamonga in 2023. In 2024, he batted .268 with 10 home runs and 62 RBIs across two levels, jumping from the 12th to the 2nd overall prospect in the Dodgers' system. The 2025 season was a breakout year, as he hit a three-run homer to win the All-Star Futures Game MVP and earned Midwest League All-Star honors with a .263 average and 12 homers for the Great Lakes Loons. After a brief, hitless stint with Double-A Tulsa, he finished the year as the Dodgers' #1 prospect and the 12th overall in MLB, though a hamstring injury sidelined him from the Arizona Fall League. Off the field, he is notably cousins with NBA stars Stephon Marbury and Sebastian Telfair.
