Jay Harbaugh (born June 14, 1989) is the special teams coordinator for the Seattle Seahawks, hailing from a legendary coaching family as the son of Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh, nephew of New York Giants head coach John Harbaugh, and grandson of coach Jack Harbaugh. After starting his career as an undergraduate assistant at Oregon State under Mike Riley and spending three seasons with the Baltimore Ravens under his uncle, he joined his father's staff at Michigan in 2015, coaching tight ends, running backs, and special teams. In 2021, he was named the FootballScoop.com Special Teams Coordinator of the Year, and during his father's suspension in 2023, he served as interim head coach, earning his first head-coaching win with a 35–7 victory over UNLV. He was hired by the Seattle Seahawks in February 2024 and was part of the coaching staff that won Super Bowl LX over the New England Patriots.
