Joey King (born July 30, 1999, in Los Angeles) is an American actress who began acting professionally at age four in commercials before making her film debut in Reign Over Me (2007). She gained recognition as Ramona Quimby in Ramona and Beezus (2010) and became a global teen icon as Elle Evans in Netflix's The Kissing Booth trilogy (2018–2021). Her critically acclaimed performance as Gypsy-Rose Blanchard in the true-crime series The Act (2019) earned her nominations for a Primetime Emmy and a Golden Globe. King has also starred in major films such as The Dark Knight Rises (2012), The Conjuring (2013), Oz the Great and Powerful (2013), Bullet Train (2022), and A Family Affair (2024), alongside voice roles in Horton Hears a Who! (2008) and Despicable Me 4 (2024). She is of Jewish descent, and her sister, Hunter King, is also an actress.
