Heliot Ramos (born September 7, 1999) is a Puerto Rican outfielder currently playing for the New York Yankees, though he previously spent his early career with the San Francisco Giants, who selected him with the 19th overall pick in the 2017 MLB draft. As a high school star, he was named the MVP of the 2016 Under Armour All-America Baseball Game at Wrigley Field, boosting his prospect status. He rapidly climbed the minors, earning selections to the All-Star Futures Game in 2018, 2019, and 2021, while posting a strong .290/.369/.481 slash line across High-A and Double-A in 2019. Ramos made his MLB debut with the Giants in 2022, but he struggled at the plate, hitting just 2-for-20 in his initial call-up and later managing a .179/.233/.304 line over 25 games in 2023 before an oblique strain ended his season.
