Chema Andrés (born 25 April 2005) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion. He rose through the Real Madrid academy after joining at age 13, winning the under-19 domestic treble in 2022–23, and made his senior debut for the club in January 2025. On the international stage, he was a key starter for Spain's U19 team, scoring against Denmark and helping them win the 2024 UEFA European Under-19 Championship. After moving to German club VfB Stuttgart for €3 million in July 2025, he signed for Brighton on a five-year contract in September 2026. Known for his tactical discipline and vertical passing, he is often compared to Spanish stars Sergio Busquets and Rodri.
