The Rivals of Amziah King is a 2025 American neo-Western crime thriller written and directed by Andrew Patterson, starring Matthew McConaughey, Angelina LookingGlass, and Kurt Russell. The plot follows beekeeper Amziah King, who dies of a heart attack after his hives are stolen, leaving his foster daughter Kateri to inherit his struggling honey business and seek vengeance. Kateri tracks down the thieves, kills one in a heated room, and poisons the wife of the powerful businessman Dob McCoy, framing him for murder. Dob dies in a chaotic high-speed chase, allowing Kateri to reclaim the hives and become the new "queen bee" of the local honey trade.
