George Emmet Sheehan (born November 15, 1999) is a pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers, who drafted him in the sixth round of the 2021 MLB draft out of Boston College. He made a spectacular major league debut on June 16, 2023, throwing six scoreless, no-hit innings against the San Francisco Giants, and earned his first career win a week later versus the Houston Astros. After a solid rookie season, his 2024 campaign was cut short by shoulder issues, leading to Tommy John surgery on May 15, 2024. He returned strong in 2025, rejoining the rotation on June 18 and posting a 6–3 record with a 2.82 ERA and 89 strikeouts over 12 starts. However, he struggled in the 2025 postseason, allowing runs in the Wild Card Series, Division Series, and the World Series, where he pitched four innings across three games.
