Daniel Jacobs (born February 3, 1987) is an American former professional boxer who competed from 2007 to 2024, holding the WBA (Regular) and IBF middleweight titles during his career. Nicknamed the "Miracle Man", his promising career was nearly cut short in 2011 when he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer, but he made a full recovery after spending 19 months out of the sport. As an amateur, he boasted an impressive 137-7 record, winning multiple national championships, including the National Golden Gloves and U.S. Amateur titles. He turned professional in 2007 on the undercard of a major Mayweather fight, but suffered his first career loss in 2010 when he was knocked out by Dmitry Pirog in a WBO title bout. After defeating cancer, he returned to the ring in 2012 and went on to capture world titles, cementing his legacy as one of boxing's most resilient champions.
