Iva Jovic (born December 6, 2007, in Torrance, California) is an American professional tennis player of Serbian descent who has quickly risen to prominence in the sport. As a junior, she partnered with Tyra Caterina Grant to win the girls' doubles titles at the 2024 Australian Open and Wimbledon, reaching a combined junior ranking of No. 2. She made her major debut at the 2024 US Open as the tournament's youngest player, where she defeated Magda Linette to become the youngest American woman to win a main-draw match there since 2000. In 2025, she broke into the top 100 in June, claimed her first WTA 125 title at the Ilkley Open, and reached the third round at the Cincinnati Open. That same year, she captured her maiden WTA Tour title at the 2025 Guadalajara Open, propelling her to a career-high singles ranking of No. 14 in August 2026. With a powerful game and rapid trajectory, Jovic has established herself as one of the most exciting young prospects on the WTA Tour.
