Malik Nabers

Malik Nabers (born July 28, 2003) is a standout wide receiver for the New York Giants who became LSU's all-time leading receiver with 3,003 yards and earned unanimous All-American honors in 2023. After being selected sixth overall in the 2024 NFL draft, he signed a $29.9 million contract and took the field wearing jersey number 1, a number retired by the Giants since 1935. In his explosive rookie season, he shattered franchise and NFL records—including becoming the first player ever with at least 20 receptions and 3 touchdown catches in his first three games, and breaking Odell Beckham Jr.'s rookie reception mark—finishing 2024 with 109 catches, 1,204 yards, and 7 touchdowns, which earned him Pro Bowl and All-Rookie honors. He continued his brilliance in 2025, catching a dramatic 48-yard touchdown pass from Russell Wilson in Week 2 against the Dallas Cowboys, though the Giants ultimately fell in overtime. Nabers has quickly established himself as one of the most dynamic young receivers in the league.
