Jonathan Majors (born September 7, 1989) is an American actor who rose to fame with critically acclaimed roles in The Last Black Man in San Francisco (2019), Da 5 Bloods (2020), and the HBO series Lovecraft Country (2020), earning a Primetime Emmy nomination. He went on to star in The Harder They Fall, Devotion, and Creed III, and became a central figure in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Kang the Conqueror in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023) and other variants in Loki. However, his career was derailed in March 2023 when he was arrested for assaulting his ex-girlfriend, leading to a December 2023 conviction on two misdemeanor counts of assault and harassment. Following the conviction, he was dropped from major projects, including the MCU, and completed a 52-week domestic violence intervention program. In 2026, he began shooting his first film in three years, Run Hide Fight: Infidels, for The Daily Wire, marking his comeback. Majors had a difficult childhood—including arrests and homelessness—but found his calling after watching Heath Ledger's Joker in The Dark Knight, which inspired him to pursue acting and eventually graduate from the Yale School of Drama.
