Tanner Scott (born July 22, 1994) is an American professional baseball pitcher currently with the Los Angeles Dodgers, having previously played for the Baltimore Orioles, Miami Marlins, and San Diego Padres. Drafted by the Orioles in the sixth round of the 2014 MLB draft, he made his major league debut in September 2017. After several inconsistent seasons in Baltimore, he was traded to the Miami Marlins in April 2022, where he broke out with a 4.31 ERA, 90 strikeouts, and 20 saves in 67 relief appearances. In January 2023, he signed a one-year, $2.825 million contract to avoid arbitration, solidifying his role as the Marlins' closer and winning the National League Reliever of the Month award. His development from a sixth-round pick into a high-leverage reliever now brings a powerful left arm to the Dodgers' bullpen.
