Alex Call (born September 27, 1994) is an American professional baseball outfielder currently playing for the Los Angeles Dodgers in Major League Baseball, having previously suited up for the Cleveland Guardians and Washington Nationals. A standout at Ball State University, he was named the Mid-American Conference Player of the Year in 2016 and was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the third round of that year's MLB draft. After being traded to Cleveland in 2018, he made his major league debut with the Guardians on July 11, 2022, but was soon claimed off waivers by the Washington Nationals. With Washington, he hit his first career home run off Josh Hader in August 2022 and had a memorable four-hit, five-RBI game in September, later playing 128 games for the team in 2023. On July 31, 2025, he was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers for prospects Sean Paul Liñan and Eriq Swan, where he played 38 games as a right-handed platoon partner and delivered a key pinch-hit RBI single in the 2025 Wild Card Series.
