Cecilia Zandalasini (born 16 March 1996 in Broni, Italy) is a standout Italian basketball player currently playing for the Golden State Valkyries in the WNBA and Famila Basket Schio in Italy. After winning six Italian youth championships with Geas Basket, she earned the MVP award at the 2016 FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship, launching a prolific European career with top clubs like Fenerbahçe, Virtus Bologna, and Galatasaray. In the WNBA, she joined the Minnesota Lynx in 2017 and captured a championship in her debut season, later earning a breakout "sixth woman" role highlighted by a dramatic buzzer-beater against the New York Liberty in 2018. On the international stage, she starred at EuroBasket Women 2017, averaging 19.0 points (2nd in the event) and 9.6 rebounds (3rd) to secure a spot on the All-Tournament team. After a second stint with the Lynx in 2024, Zandalasini was selected by the Golden State Valkyries in the 2024 WNBA expansion draft and signed a one-year deal for the 2026 season, while also returning to Schio in 2025.
