Joe Morgan was a legendary American second baseman who played 22 MLB seasons from 1963 to 1984, most famously with the Cincinnati Reds as part of the "Big Red Machine." He won back-to-back World Series championships in 1975 and 1976 and was named the National League MVP in both of those years, earning induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1990 in his first year of eligibility. Nicknamed "Little Joe" for his 5'7" stature, he developed a signature "chicken wing" batting stance after teammate Nellie Fox advised him to flap his back arm to keep his elbow up. After retiring, he became a prominent broadcaster for ABC, ESPN, and NBC, and also served as a special advisor to the Reds.
