Josh Allen (born May 21, 1996) is the star quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, widely regarded as one of the greatest dual-threat players in NFL history and the league's all-time leader in quarterback rushing touchdowns. His path to stardom was unconventional: growing up on a 3,000-acre cotton farm in Firebaugh, California, he received no Division I scholarship offers—even being snubbed by his hometown Fresno State—so he started at Reedley College before transferring to Wyoming and was drafted 7th overall by the Bills in 2018. After a breakout 2020 season, he led Buffalo to their first division title and playoff win since 1995, reaching the AFC Championship game. Since then, he has guided the team to seven playoff appearances, five consecutive division titles, and two conference championship berths. In 2024, he was named NFL Most Valuable Player, adding to his four Pro Bowl and two second-team All-Pro selections.
