Jim Harbaugh is a prominent American football coach and former quarterback, currently serving as the head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers in the NFL. Born in Toledo, Ohio, in 1963, he was a standout quarterback at the University of Michigan, finishing third in the Heisman Trophy voting in 1986 before enjoying a 14-year NFL playing career with teams like the Chicago Bears and Indianapolis Colts, earning NFL Comeback Player of the Year honors in 1995. As a coach, he rose to fame by leading the San Francisco 49ers to three consecutive NFC Championship games, and he and his brother John made history as the first pair of brothers to coach against each other in a Super Bowl (XLVII).
