Arie Luyendyk Jr. (born September 18, 1981) is a Dutch-American racing driver and television personality, best known as the son of two-time Indianapolis 500 winner Arie Luyendyk. In his racing career, he competed primarily in the Indy Lights Series, finishing second, third, and fourth in the championship over several seasons, and captured his first series win at Chicagoland Speedway in 2008. He also attempted the Indianapolis 500, qualifying in 2006 (finishing 28th) after being bumped from the field in 2005, and served as a test driver for A1 Team Netherlands during the 2007–08 A1 Grand Prix season. Beyond the track, Luyendyk gained widespread fame on reality TV, appearing as the runner-up on The Bachelorette in 2012, starring in the 22nd season of The Bachelor in 2018, and finishing fourth on The Traitors in 2023. Born in the Netherlands, he immigrated to the U.S. at age three, settling in Wisconsin, and began racing karts in 1992 before moving on to open-wheel and sports-car events like the 12 Hours of Sebring and 24 Hours of Daytona.
