Lane Kiffin (born May 9, 1975) is a prominent American football coach who currently serves as the head coach of the LSU Tigers, having previously led the Oakland Raiders, Tennessee Volunteers, USC Trojans, Florida Atlantic Owls, and Ole Miss Rebels. He made history as the youngest head coach in modern NFL history with the Raiders and the youngest power conference coach at Tennessee and USC. As USC's offensive coordinator, he helped craft a record-breaking 2005 offense that averaged 49.1 points per game, featuring a 3,000-yard passer and two 1,000-yard rushers, though those wins were later vacated due to Reggie Bush's ineligibility. After a successful run as Alabama's offensive coordinator from 2014 to 2016, he rebuilt Florida Atlantic and Ole Miss before leaving the Rebels in 2025 to take the LSU job. The son of legendary defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin, he began his career as a backup quarterback at Fresno State before transitioning into coaching.
