John Nolan is the central protagonist of the hit TV series The Rookie, portrayed by Nathan Fillion, who reinvents his life as the LAPD's oldest rookie after a dramatic bank robbery and divorce. Inspired by real-life officer William Norcross, Nolan navigates the dangerous and humorous world of policing alongside colleagues twenty years his junior, facing intense storylines like taking a life within his first month and being framed for corruption by dirty cop Nick Armstrong.
