Will Hammond is a college football quarterback for the Texas Tech Red Raiders, known for his standout high school career at Hutto High School in Texas, where he led all state quarterbacks with 3,901 passing yards and 35 touchdowns, adding 1,077 rushing yards and 19 rushing scores as a senior. A consensus four-star recruit, he chose Texas Tech over offers from Auburn, Oregon, Penn State, and Texas A&M. After stepping in for an injured starter during the 2024 season, Hammond was named the starter for the Liberty Bowl on December 14, 2024. In 2025, he made impactful relief appearances against Utah and Kansas, leading multiple scoring drives, and earned starts against Arizona State and Oklahoma State.
