Bo Nickal

Bo Nickal (born January 14, 1996) is a rising American mixed martial artist currently competing in the UFC's middleweight division, where he is ranked #13 as of August 2026. Before transitioning to MMA, he was a legendary collegiate wrestler at Pennsylvania State University, becoming a three-time NCAA Division I national champion and earning the prestigious 2019 Dan Hodge Trophy as the nation's top wrestler. His freestyle wrestling resume is equally impressive, highlighted by a 2019 U23 World Championship and a runner-up finish at the 2020 U.S. Olympic Team Trials. Growing up across Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico, and Texas, he was a dominant high school force, winning three Texas state titles and amassing a remarkable 183–7 record with 131 pins. Now undefeated in his professional MMA career, Nickal is widely considered one of the most accomplished wrestlers of his generation, bringing his elite grappling pedigree to the UFC's middleweight ranks.
