College GameDay (football TV program)

ESPN College GameDay is a beloved pre-game show broadcast on Saturday mornings during the college football season, originating live from the campus of a featured game to create a festive tailgate-party atmosphere with boisterous crowds, signs, and mascots. Among its quirky traditions is the famous "Ol' Crimson" Washington State flag, which has appeared at an incredible 320 consecutive broadcasts since 2003, regardless of location. The show's current theme song is a revamped version of the hit "Comin' to Your City," performed by the Cadillac Three with country stars Darius Rucker and Lainey Wilson. Its most iconic segment is the final prediction round, where analysts and a guest pick winners, but the legendary Lee Corso—who retired in 2025—famously concluded the show by donning the winning team's mascot headgear, finishing his career with a 287–144 headgear pick record and a final correct call on August 30, 2025. As of December 6, 2025, Ohio State–Penn State and Alabama–LSU are the most frequently featured matchups, having each appeared thirteen times on the show.
