Nicholas John Sogard (born September 9, 1997) is an American professional baseball infielder for the Boston Red Sox, making his MLB debut in 2024. Drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays in the 12th round of the 2019 MLB draft, he was traded to Boston in February 2021 in exchange for Jeffrey Springs and Chris Mazza. After climbing through the minors, he was promoted to the majors on July 31, 2024, and debuted on August 2, batting .273 in 31 games during his rookie campaign. In 2025, he split time between Triple-A Worcester and Boston, appearing in 30 major-league games with a .260 average. The following year, on August 19, 2026, he hit his first major-league home run off Arizona's Brandon Pfaadt. Off the field, Sogard comes from a baseball family, as his cousins Eric Sogard (MLB 2010-2021) and Alex Sogard also played professionally.
