Challenge Ramudu is a 1980 Telugu-language action film directed by T. L. V. Prasad and produced by T. Prakash Rao, starring N. T. Rama Rao and Jaya Prada. The story follows Vijayram, a ship captain who loves taking on challenges, and who falls for Aruna after a bet with his best friend. The plot thickens when Aruna's young brother Bunty goes missing, and a mysterious "beast" threatens Justice Raja Shekaram to free his criminal son, leading Vijay to uncover that the mastermind is James, the hardened criminal who murdered his own family. Vijay then uses various disguises to rescue Bunty and exact revenge, culminating in his marriage to Aruna. The film's music, composed by Chakravarthy, features the hit track "Pattuko Pattuko," which was later remixed in the 2008 film Okka Magadu starring Nandamuri Balakrishna.
