Alianza Fútbol Club is a professional Colombian football team based in Valledupar, Cesar, competing in the top-tier Categoría Primera A. Founded on 16 January 2024, the club was created when owner Carlos Orlando Ferreira relocated the former Alianza Petrolera from Barrancabermeja after local authorities there failed to provide financial support and the stadium was deemed unsuitable for international matches. The club adopted a new crest and the colors of Valledupar, playing its home games at the 11,000-capacity Armando Maestre Pavajeau stadium. In its debut season, Alianza lost its first match to Atlético Nacional but made a strong international debut in the 2024 Copa Sudamericana, defeating América de Cali and staging an upset with a 3–3 draw against Cruzeiro at Mineirão. The team is currently managed by Camilo Ayala, who took over in February 2026.
