Geno Smith (born October 10, 1990) is an American football quarterback who currently plays for the New York Jets, having rejoined the team in 2026 after a remarkable NFL journey. He starred at West Virginia University, earning first-team All-Big East honors in 2011, before being drafted by the Jets in the second round of the 2013 NFL draft, where he started for two seasons until his release in 2016.
