Final Fantasy VII Revelation is an upcoming action RPG from Square Enix, set to launch on April 8, 2027, as the concluding chapter of the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy. The narrative picks up right after Rebirth, following Cloud Strife and AVALANCHE to the Northern Crater for a final showdown with Sephiroth, while also featuring the previously omitted locations of Wutai and Rocket Town. Gameplay introduces a controllable airship (the Highwind) with parachuting, a "FITS" system granting classic Final Fantasy class abilities, and adds Cid Highwind and Vincent Valentine as playable characters. Development was confirmed as a trilogy in 2022, entered active production in 2024, and the title was revealed at the 2026 Summer Game Fest for release on Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S.
