Donald Trump Jr. (born December 31, 1977) is an American businessman and political activist, best known as the eldest son of President Donald Trump and his first wife, Ivana Trump. He serves as an executive vice president and trustee of the Trump Organization alongside his brother Eric, though the brothers faced criticism for continuing foreign deals during their father's presidency. Trump was deeply involved in his father's political campaigns, notably meeting with a Russian lawyer in 2016 who promised damaging information about Hillary Clinton, and later promoting unfounded claims of election fraud in 2020. He spoke at the rally preceding the January 6 Capitol attack, where he threatened opponents, and has authored two books, Triggered (2019) and Liberal Privilege (2020), as well as launching a podcast in 2023. In 2024, he expanded into venture capital as a partner at 1789 Capital and joined the board of Credova. His career also includes appearances on The Apprentice and various business ventures, some of which, like Trump Mortgage, collapsed quickly.
