Callum Turner

Callum Turner (born 15 February 1990 in Hammersmith, London) rose from a fashion model for brands like Next and Reebok to a leading British actor, having been raised on a Chelsea council estate by a single mother before briefly playing semi-professional football. His acting breakthrough came in 2014 with lead roles in Queen and Country and the E4 mystery series Glue, and he later gained global fame as Theseus Scamander in the Fantastic Beasts films (2018 and 2022). Turner's portrayal of Shaun Emery in the 2019 BBC thriller The Capture earned him a BAFTA TV Award nomination for Best Actor. His recent major projects include playing Joe Rantz in The Boys in the Boat (2023), Bucky Egan in the World War II miniseries Masters of the Air (2024), and starring alongside Miles Teller in the romantic fantasy Eternity (2025). Named a BAFTA Breakthrough Brit in 2014, his versatile career also spans Victor Frankenstein (2015), Tramps (2016), and directing the short film Shift the Plane (2018).
