Kim S. Pegula (born June 7, 1969, in Seoul, South Korea) was adopted by an American family in 1974 after being abandoned on the streets of Seoul, growing up in Fairport, New York, before marrying billionaire Terry Pegula in 1993. As president of Pegula Sports and Entertainment, she oversaw the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres, famously winning the Bills in 2014 with an NFL-record $1.4 billion all-cash bid against rivals like Donald Trump and Jon Bon Jovi, making her one of only three NFL owners not born in the US. She coined the "One Buffalo" branding, served on NFL business ventures and Super Bowl committees, and donated $12 million to Houghton College. Her career was halted by an incapacitating stroke in 2022, leading to the dissolution of Pegula Sports and Entertainment in 2023.
