Sebastian Gorzny (born January 24, 2004) is an American tennis player with a career-high singles ranking of No. 731, who first made his mark by winning the boys' doubles title at the 2022 Wimbledon Championships. After helping Texas Christian University win the national championship, he transferred to the University of Texas, where he finished 2026 as the second-ranked college player and earned ITA National Senior Player of the Year honors. His college success earned him a wildcard for the 2026 US Open, where he made his Grand Slam singles main-draw debut and triumphed in a thrilling five-set marathon, saving five match points against Belgium's Raphael Collignon. Remarkably, his career nearly never happened, as a mosquito bite in 2019 caused a brain infection that left him in a coma for four days at the USTA under-16 nationals in Michigan. Now a graduate of Texas, he is proving to be a resilient talent on the professional circuit.
