Maura Higgins

Maura Higgins (born 25 November 1990) is an Irish TV personality and model who skyrocketed to fame in 2019 as a fan-favorite finalist on the fifth series of Love Island, finishing fourth with partner Curtis Pritchard. Before her breakthrough, she worked as a grid girl and ring girl, even going viral for drifting a car in Abu Dhabi with Monster Energy, and later launched successful product lines with brands like Boohoo, Ann Summers, and her own Primark lashes, eventually becoming the face of MAC Cosmetics UK in 2025. Her career expanded beyond the villa to hosting the Irish version of Glow Up, as well as presenting Love Island USA: Aftersun and Love Island Games: Aftersun in recent years. She has also proven her versatility as a contestant on major reality shows, including Dancing on Ice (2020), Cooking with the Stars (2022), and I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! (2024), with an appearance on The Traitors US set for 2026. Hailing from Ballymahon, County Longford, she initially trained as a hairdresser before pivoting to modeling and entertainment, establishing herself as one of Ireland's most prominent media figures.
