SeatGeek Stadium, originally known as Toyota Park, is a soccer-specific venue in Bridgeview, Illinois, that opened on June 11, 2006, with a capacity of 20,000 and a construction cost of roughly $100 million. It has served as the home for several major teams, including the Chicago Fire of Major League Soccer and the Chicago Stars FC of the NWSL, and currently hosts Chicago Fire FC II, the Chicago Hounds rugby team, and Chicago State Cougars football. The stadium's naming rights shifted from Toyota to SeatGeek in 2019, marking SeatGeek's first such deal and making it the venue's primary ticketing service. In 2019, the Chicago Fire negotiated a $65 million lease buyout to return to Soldier Field, though they still play some late-season matches at SeatGeek Stadium while their new Chicago stadium is under construction. The facility features predominantly covered seating, a brick facade, rows placed within three yards of the field, 42 executive suites, and the Illinois Soccer Hall of Fame. Today, it remains a vital hub for lower-division soccer and rugby, with plans for a multisport recreation center on the site.
