Liev Schreiber (born October 4, 1967) is an acclaimed American actor known for his versatility across film, stage, and television, having won a Tony Award and earned nine Emmy and five Golden Globe nominations. His film career spans from the Scream trilogy (1996–2000) to X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) and Spotlight (2015), alongside collaborations with Wes Anderson, while he made his directorial debut with Everything Is Illuminated (2005). On Broadway, he won the Tony for Glengarry Glen Ross (2005) and was later nominated for Talk Radio (2007), A View from the Bridge (2010), and Doubt (2024).
