David Raya Martín (born 15 September 1995) is a Spanish professional footballer regarded as one of the world's best goalkeepers, currently playing for Arsenal and the Spain national team. Starting his senior career in England with Blackburn Rovers in 2012, he gained experience on loan at Southport before helping Blackburn secure promotion from League One in 2018. He moved to Brentford in 2019 for around £3 million, where he shared the EFL Golden Glove in 2020 and earned promotion to the Premier League by winning the 2021 Championship play-off final. In 2023, Raya joined Arsenal, where he has since won three consecutive Premier League Golden Gloves and his first Premier League title in 2026. On the international stage, he made his Spain debut in 2022 and was part of the squads that won both UEFA Euro 2024 and the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
