Shannon Elizabeth (born September 7, 1973) is an American actress, activist, and professional poker player who rose to fame as a 1990s-2000s sex symbol through iconic roles in American Pie (1999) and Scary Movie (2000). Her diverse filmography includes Tomcats, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Thirteen Ghosts, and Love Actually, while on television she appeared in That '70s Show and the sitcom Cuts. A serious poker player, she competed in the 2005 World Series of Poker Main Event, won a $55,000 tournament at Caesars Palace in 2006, and reached the semi-finals of the NBC Heads-Up Championship.
