Alina Korneeva (born 23 June 2007) is a rising Russian professional tennis player who has already reached a career-high WTA singles ranking of No. 67 (achieved in August 2026). She burst onto the scene in 2023 by winning the girls' singles titles at both the Australian Open and the French Open, defeating her best friend Mirra Andreeva in the Melbourne final and becoming the first player since 1990 to win the first two junior Grand Slams of the year. That same year, she reached the top of the junior world rankings and made history as the youngest player ever to win a W100 title at the Figueira da Foz Open, before making her WTA Tour debut in Hong Kong. In 2024, she qualified for her first major main draw at the Australian Open, secured her first Grand Slam win, and reached her first WTA doubles final at the Jasmin Open. The following year, she added three ITF Tour titles to her name, including victories at the W50 Leira and W50 Evora events in Portugal. With her powerful game and early success, Korneeva is quickly establishing herself as one of the most promising young talents in women's tennis.
